How Much Is Robux Worth in USD?
Robux doesn't have one single dollar value. It has two and which one you care about depends on whether you're buying Robux or cashing it out. For a player buying Robux, it costs about $0.0125 per Robux so 1,000 Robux is around $12.50. For a developer cashing out earned Robux through DevEx, the rate is lower, Approximately $0.0038 per Robux, which makes that same 1,000 Robux worth about $3.80 in real money.
That difference throws a lot of people off, so the calculator shows both at once. Flip the toggle and it works the other way too, turning any dollar amount into the Robux you'd get at standard prices. One tool, both directions, no guessing.
Why Buying and Cashing Out Don't Match
It feels strange that Robux is "worth" more when you buy it than when you cash it out. The reason is simple. Buying is retail, you're paying Roblox the going rate for in-game currency. Cashing out runs through the Developer Exchange program at a developer rate, which is lower by design. They're two separate systems so the numbers were never meant to line up.

Going the other way, one US dollar buys you about 80 Robux at standard prices. So $10 gets you roughly 800 Robux and $25 lands you around 2,000. Roblox sells Robux in fixed packages rather than a smooth scale, and the bigger packages give a slightly better rate. Premium members also get a bonus, so treat these as close estimates.
